Looking Great buddy
And take your time Family always comes first so dont apologise. i know what your saying, i was confused sometimes when mil did certain things the mesh isn't as clean and the poly flow not as i would like but i am a noob at this, even though ive been dabbling with lightwave for like 10 years now. Take as long as you want with doing it i am in no rush all best buddy |

update...I have decided to forgo following Mil poly by poly...Maya just does NOT have the tools that cut and bevel like LW. I give LW thumbs up for soem of the tools Maya doesnt have..but a BIG thumbs down for the UI...it isnt as good as Maya. I am in the process of cleaning the hull above...have cut the front escape wedge out...what a bitch Maya is to boolean with man. Anyhoo, once I have cleaned 4 million edges etc etc and clamped them so the smooth will happen properly (Maya doesnt like smooths)..I will progress. I am still not happy with the LW edge flow, it doesnt seem to be as important as in Maya??

Ok...I have spent MOST of the day deleting..adding..deleting edge loops so this bloody thing will smooth properly and not deform badly. As stated I belive Maya is not as forgiving as LW in its smooth interpolation calc's. Anyhoo I think Im about 60% through the loops! sigh...but Im glad I decided to stop the modellig and do it now...painful stuff. Not much of an update but touching base so you guys dont forget me LOL. The unsmoothed vs smoothed...you can see the edge loop clamps I have had to do...well some of the hundreds...

Ok hull done, I have noticed a mistake in the geo on the underside of the hull itself...I will leave this in. It took nearly half a day to fix the last one...I have seen the tut model and the geo offsets are there too...so I leave it in. Now for cut in panels and some other fun stuff, then textures!

Not sure which sounded scarier, the cyclones or the bills
