In this video we take a look at some basic UV mapping techniques in Lightwave using an unfolded Tabasco cardboard box. If you've never done any UV layout before this is an easy introduction that goes over how to create UV maps for simple objects to prevent stretching in your textures.
Working in the UV Texture Editor you'll get some experience with the different tools used during this process, as well as learn how to assign the image files to the final map and bring the complete box into Layout for folding using the Morph Mixer.
This tutorial comes with the object and image files so you can follow along with us, these can be downloaded here.
