First of all you might want to give it some bumpiness to make it look brushed, giving it a little bluring on the reflection might add a bit. You should also put a gradient on the reflection channel. For an idea of the gradient, look at the ones that some of the crome presets have. If you want to go to extremes you can also apply the BRDF shader to give it more of a brushed look. I think philip has a preset of brushed aluminium on this site too. Hope that helps. :) I broke my tremelo once and they wanted 12 bucks for a new one. I have a floating bridge, but I'm doing without the tremelo. I just tug on one of the strings when I want to and it wabbles the bridge. Works great! I must admit that I don't usually use it though, I prefer to do it with my left hand fingers on the strings. :D |

What a job! Now I'm so far. I have learned that when making a model with so many parts you (I) have to be VERY organized (which I must confess I haven't!). Now I'm waiting for part 3 in the Strat Texturing tut.
