hmm, i use no caustics and radiosity but hdri.
so it really apply a fast render, setting AA to enhanced medium, that only cost 8 mins to render it.

How do you get a "grainy" type look to the picture, i like it, makes it look genuine.

Photoshop i presume, but if not please tell

nice one Neochris

i noticed one very little thing .....
the praportion looks a bit wierd. when comparing the size of the ring to the groves between the tiles on the floor , it makes the ring look about a meter across. maby bulk up those groves between the tiles , in fact u would only see one grove if any in a pic that close up probibly.

just a small thing but thought i would point it out.

Try Area Light or search for a Radiosity with a Skydome Tutorial on the web - newtek might have some ;).

You can also try adding the Virtual Darkroom pixel filter to your scene to add post processed film effects.

(even i don't find it out...how embarrass)
