i like it a lot! Great Job!  :attn:

hi pianoman
it's good work u done so far
i think that the moon position is not good... it's right in the center...if u move it a bit to the right u will get better image...also another part of the tree with moon background, which is looking awesome!
the fog is too dense i think, and in the upper part should fade away more lightly.
maybe a silhouette of a rowboat coming out of shadow can add more mystery to the scene.ghost rowboat:eek:

Good work and interesting idea!

Again I must agree.
Good call, sandfish

Oh, just a tought: while you're at it, could you move the camera up just a bit so we can see the horizontal bridge planks better. It's will add a bit of mistery cause you have to think: has somebody actually fallen there? :eek3:

P.S. Sorry and please forgive me if I begin to annoy everyone here. I know it's not nice to constantly complain about everything but I just wanna help. Also, it's a living

Thanks for the advice guys! I moved the moon a little bit, and this is rendered without the fog (because it takes forever). Let me know what you think!

Hello again, here's another render, with fog. It's kind of hard to tell that it's fog, and that it's blocking the trees in the background. Any suggestions? Do I need the background trees?

NoStr0m0 30-08-2005 09:06 PM

The trees add depth to the scene so I would keep them...
Play around with the fog... set it's min higher and make it more transparent if you can...

It looks good but it can look better with just a little tweaking. I like the idea :D

Good luck!

P.S. Also try and raise the camera a bit but still point it in the same general direction of the ripple... so you can see the water and the reflection better.

P.S. II
Just had a better look. Move the moon a bit to the right so the hand choking the other hand is visible cause now it's right on the edge and you can't see much if you don't know it's there.

Sorry, that fog is really crappy. I'll have a new one with better fog tonight, it could possibly be my final render. I was using the wrong lights on the fog, so it turned out a blackish color.

NoStr0m0 30-08-2005 09:14 PM

Ok, hope it turns out sweet.

Good luck!

Here's a better render. Is the fog too bright?

Warlock 279 31-08-2005 02:13 AM

i like the fog where it is color and brightness wise...the only problem is it makes the tree hared to see...i'd say look at making that slightly lighter before i would mess with darkening the fog...either that or sihlouette the tree more with the moon...so that the tree appears entirelt black against the moon...
