the bump of the scales seems too hard. It's almost like it's a cracked statue or something. I'd soften those up some.

Looking good speedy, is it a uv for the colours or a gradient on the bump?

i like your dotte texture, but i agree with mtmcinley about the scales... but well... since it was just a test you will probably fix it!!
