Nice! keep it up  :).

Perhaps the scales are a bit small?

Cyroz2000 17-08-2004 08:54 AM

Thx Mike, ur right, scale are really small, but this texture is just to test some ideas I had in mind and I wanted to put in toshop....
This is more a skin layer....

I got a lot of modelling to do, then I'll try to do the final UV ...
I think I'll post one or two more test if I got time and then I'll get back to model...

See ya!

Holy frickin' moley. That is just plain awesome! This is quite possibly the best Lightwave model I've seen in a long time. Superb work! A real inspiration.

:D:tup: very nice work

bullet_evader 17-08-2004 08:46 PM

nice...i know its a test, but with the final render you should make sure to avoid the stretching texture in the middle of the face!!

keep on going like this!!

/me picks jaw up off the floor.

duderender 17-08-2004 10:08 PM

WOW.. Exceptional!!

ozwolf 18-08-2004 01:59 AM

The texture is as good as the model and i am really impressed.
We'll see if any of the other simply site participants can beat this one, i love it when lightwave users beat maya users, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, i am rooting for ya to take out the top prize!

This was patch modelled right? what was your method? Splines? did you have a particular reference that you are working from? Sry about all the questions i am just intrigued.

And i think speedy is onto something with the pro division for competitions.

(for the purpose of clarity, the phrase " i am rooting for ya" is an australian colloquelism meaning i am supporting you. and for anybody who doesn't know colloquelism means local slang)

Zeeman 18-08-2004 02:46 AM

that is one heck of a bump map. how long did it take. That grand prize is sitting there waiting for ya dude! Simply AMAZING!:)

Oz,
this is not spline modeling, I started with one poly then cut, extend, drag.... (--->pic attached)
I have no particular reference, not "one" dino in fact, just browsed google for dino pics....

kumar 18-08-2004 02:17 PM
