I think it looks good. The one area (besides the belly button) that looks a little strange is his thigh area just above the knees. It looks like his upper thighs are kinda flat. That's the best way I can describe it but, nonetheless, it's a lot better than I could do!

Keep going, almost done.

Excellent start to texturing there  ....I wish I could texture/render/anything else other than model....

bullet_evader 25-09-2005 10:34 AM

Texturing looks great. Try to add some bump to the rust ( not to much, just a slightly bump )

yowsers man, you've done loads already.
Looking really really good, I'd have thought this was a normals entry not a noobs! :)

Keep it up :)

Texturing looks good, but i would give the green clothes some more variations in color. Not by adding another color, but by adding darker and lighter tones. Maybe add some mud too!?!

I think the problem with the sword is one of proportion. The grip/hilt area and that bottom piece of the blade look too thin and spindly compared with the rest of it. Also, the guard looks too fat and hefty in comparison with the grip/blade...

Sort those out and I think you'll have it licked...

Awesome progress Shadow...are you going to make that sick blade you have in your concept?

Fallenswordsman 01-10-2005 09:49 AM

Yep, definitely starting to look the business now :)
