Reworked the top windows - my golly, these gave me trouble - they looked alright as a mesh, but rendered, they looked awful. I'm at least happy with them now though.

...I managed to get myself down to Tower Bridge (twice in two weeks no less) - so I've finally got myself some reference photos of the detailed bits that I've been seeking. Unfortunately I also managed to get food poisoning from a cafe in St.Katherine's Docks at the same time, but once I'm back in commission, I'll restart work on this.

Eeep ... hope the poisoning hasn't knocked you too far out of kilter mate...

Okay, back after the warm weather (you can't expect that I was modelling whilst we had sun in the UK, we don't tend to get much of it here).

Just trying to get the top part done - its certainly taken a while to get this much finished and there's still a lot to do.

Just so you know this project is still alive if a bit time consuming. Added more detail to the top thingummy and put on the black "eyelits" (as I'm going to call them)

This wasn't a work I knew about before, but it looks like Mr.Luciano Neves has created a version of Tower Bridge before! It is interesting to see somebody else's rendition of this in CG. From a bit of research, it looks like this version was done with very few references, which I think shows a bit (there are a few inaccuracies in things like numbers of windows and the fact that the inside face of the tower is the same as the outside face) but this is certainly inspirational work for me to try and aim to better. If only I had more free time! :headbang:

Wow! Fantastic work swordsman. Are you going to build the bridge and texture it too? Is this all sub-d, or faces, or a mix? I can't tell!! Great job.
