lighting and surfacing

hi phillip. i love youre work. i much more interested in learning lighting and surfacing from youre tutorials. Will you be doing the lighting/surfacing tutorials for the stratacaster soon? and will the mclaren have the lighting surfacing parts in tutorials soon as well? I know alot of people would really be interested in that aspect of youre work as well as the modeling. thanks kevin

Scarvin 25-08-2004 05:18 AM

I'm pleased to get 20 extra points. :)

Thanks

Can those who already downloaded more than half of the tutorial also take advantage of the 51% discount (I mean only for the remaining parts) ?

Or are the 20 extrapoints the discount for those?

edit:
@ kevin heller: the texturing for the Stratocaster is available here
I think philip is making the texturing tutorial for the mclaren this or next week (hopefully I'm right)

Endorphin 25-08-2004 06:05 AM

can someone check if Kevin is ok?...
first i got 20 points bonus in my mail this morning
and now he is giving 51% discount on McLaren tutorial?!?!??!

for those of you who didn't start this tutorial yet.....THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!!! :D

yea kevin You've got a point there.
The modeling is going good ... but the lighting and surfacing is also my bigest concern ... so for now my model still looks goofy :D

Can you give us some idea when texturing of the strato and mclaren will be online? Are we talking months here? cuz i'm waiting some time now on the strato gituar texturing etc ...
Hopeing not to be avoided here and get some answers!
my 2 cents

philip 26-08-2004 02:42 AM

no, we're definitely not talking months before the mc laren texturing starts :D days rather

the additional strat lighting/surfacing I said would start when Exposée II has shipped... they apparently have some problems and delays with their printers.

novalism 26-08-2004 03:39 AM

ok good and fast answer :)
tnx for letting me ("us") know

Scarvin 26-08-2004 04:03 AM
