sort of rushing it as i want the scene done :) hopefully will have all the models done by week end so i can start on textures for the landscape.

come to think of it has any1 got any links to anything that show useing tileing for landscapes etc i aint got a clue how

mtmckinley 12-10-2004 06:29 PM

Looks pretty neat!

There's a bit of a disconnect between the character's shoulders and arms. The arms don't look like they're extension's of his body.

Keep it up!

Zeeman 12-10-2004 07:13 PM

nice job so far, but his feet seem a little oversized for his body and everything.... just a thought... or maybe u wanna keep it that way???...

I really like the shoulder parts!

Sharp 12-10-2004 09:29 PM

mike , o yeah i see what you mean :)

zman , yeah they are oversized :) i really like the look of the huge feet thought and i think the idea of feet like that as iv seen on worwolfs etc is to have super fast running speed, like when we run we only use the toe section to get better speed.

argh i hate doing hands

heres some wires lots of polys i can save especailly in the hands and feet. total count atm is 2510 which i think is rather high for the lack of detail

afew ideas to put onto my demon most will be done just with textures

only got to add a few pushyout* things dont know what to call them hair chains and afew flaps

ps how would game textures be done if they involve more then 1 map as i want to do the head + transparent bits (hair and chain)
on a seperate map then the body. would this just be done a seperate map, this is really just because id like to know as i am going to do it just as lightwave lets you anyway.

didnt get anything done today went to a friends then watched a film so no time atsept to put these little ideas down on paint :)

Zeeman 14-10-2004 12:22 PM

Coming along well Sharp! U've still got loads of detail to put in that guy, in his face especially...

Sharp 14-10-2004 04:28 PM

i could try but its low poly so most will be done by textures

Sharp 14-10-2004 08:48 PM
