Can we see an unfrozen wire frame? |
High Poly count
1 Attachment(s)
The model is not frozen! High poly count for the amount of the detail that I will use later. Plus the screen save made the lines to thick. Oslo the model is not hacked, was built using splines. I do not use nor support Hacking. "Drills and Booleans". I study the models geometry first. Then use splines to create one unified mesh. Just Look at the Philip's Stratocaster Tutorial. The amount of Poly his using is olso very High. When I built my models I consider the shots that it will be rendered at, such as Close and Clean or Fast and Blurry, Game or Movie Res. Hacking thinks away is not the way the models should be built. Here some more shots of the Defiant. Pleese Note: some thinks are not attached yet and the model is incomplite!
Thanks All! :D |

Just out of interest, what exactly is the polycount on that?
|
Wow, it's soo cool!
I thought it was a Layout wireframe (Layout freezes subpatches) but it's really cool if it was done with splines It is still subpatched tough right? (some of it) I love the detail, very well done. |
My thanks to all of you! :D

Any body here know how to create the engine glow FX such as this one! Me and Layout don't get along to well. Texturing and Lightning is a mystery to me.
Sorry for the poor quality picture. |
Yep - check out this page - should be just what you need...
