Hi!
I really like the brushed metal look you gave the reciever. What did you do get such a looking texture? I've just starting out with Lightwave, but can't seem to get that effect right. |

Here is the bump map used for the brushed metal....it was created in photoshop using Add Noise then motion blur at 180 degrees.. there are also sveral other layers of noise and transparent maps for the titles of the buttons but this might help for your bump and diffuse channels...

hey fusion, its really a great and clean work!
one detail more though - try to improve those LCD/digital letters & numbers - AFAIK there is a thin layer of crystals and then somewhat thicker glass/plexiglass... it would be really awesome to see a depth-effect and/or "twice-like" appearance.... and u might try to add a slight glow i think... my english is not so good to describe that better, i apologize... |
i could be wrong, but did i have seen this first render before??
anyhow...looks very nice!!! great job!! |
you may have seen it in the gallery or on an old Newtek thread...Thanks for the comments...
