Im not ready to make a person or cyborg in my case, but i hope i will learn something from this challenge.

Hi there, nice idea,,,, a cyborg.

Well another update, this is the thigh part of the cyborg.

mind the deformity at the tip of knee area because for some reason i cant change it anymore.

Nice, but i would like wires, and stuff coming out of it, Hmm the head is going to be a real tough one. Keep the updates comming.

Update! Im now finished with the legs and now i am going to do the arms and torso area....the head part is going to be the last thing i do because i hate making heads:)

What are his weapons?

A 12-barrel machine gun, and a sniper/silenced/automatic/uzi/handgun
im hoping of getting my sketches scanned by the beginning of next week

well i went ahead and started building the left_arm, Unfortunately he doesnt have a left hand but he does have a 12-barrel sub-machine gun instead of it:D

Nice, Keep it coming, Hows the head design? I know heads are difficult, but since i started with non human heads, makes the human head process easier.

i hate heads!!!!! they are so hard for some reason:(

Thats the finished 12-barrel sub-machine gun, anyway at the end i might add some extra detail to make it better.

well i havent had the time to do any updates on my modeling, but i have made an animation with the 12-barrels rotating, i imagine its going to go faster but i didnt feel like waiting for another 20 min for it to render:)

Well i was hoping of getting them done yesterday but things didnt run smoothly and the plan fell apart, anyway i might just go to the library or something and pay some money to get it scanned,

Oh, too bad, i know how you feel. Maybe after a while you can have your own, since the price of the parts are dropping. Heck i just built one on my own. Now enjoying the 1GB of Ram,,,, Man that feels good to see render times go like in secs. Hope for the future man...;)

yea render times for some things are a pain since i only have 128 MB or RAM :)
although im hoping to get that in the future as well, soon i hope

Well, i have rendered 12hour long scenes with 128,,, and i still use it to really crank up the photoshoping that i still do on it.

arm_update....will start attaching the 12-barrel to arm and then i will create the torso,

Looks the same type,, maybe make it different. The fingers look a little small, maybe bigger. Keep up the good work. :)

ill try to change the arms, maybe the legs as well.
I think i will leave the joints to be like that but ill change the part with the pipes.

Take your time, think there is a lot more time to the end of feb.

For a cyborg like mine would it be better for me to create bones/IK or should i do everything with morphs?

Looks like progress. Are you planning on giving him much mass at all? He's looking pretty petite at the moment, although it's just arms and legs so far. :)
