Fallenswordsman 27-07-2004 12:44 PM

Only four more days, Chrispo - no problem for a guy of your calibre!

chrispo 27-07-2004 01:52 PM

Cool,,, but its going to be a squezze... Hehe waiting to see what you have...??? And ya... points do get addictive..... Hehe!! Too bad i am not a noob anymore... Hahaha.

chrispo 27-07-2004 05:48 PM

well see, I've got tues wed and thurs nights to spare, and Im feeling in the rendering mood. I've already done my first scene - changed it a bit from the story board - but I always do!

chrispo 28-07-2004 12:08 AM

aww, real sad to read that we cant chop up the sound file - or add in some extra sfx?! I'll do as Im bid - I've attached a wip of where I've got to, Im knackered now... I've really only 1 day left. I'm re-rendering as we speak on the lip sync, eye morphs and body jerkings. All a bit much.

I've also made my kitchen, but the sound clip wont allow my storyboard to work :(

here it is: 1.7m www.fasaonline.org/test.wmv

Man that camera work is nice,,,, boy i need to learn to work the camera more.... :)

Fallenswordsman 28-07-2004 06:51 AM

Well considering how late you started this, you're going at one blistering pace here! Looking good so far.

chrispo 28-07-2004 07:40 AM

Cheers - modelling the monster - might end up tweaking the mum and colouring the skin... thought it smoking a pipe may be fun.

here we go, been a busy morning with work - not getting my lazy time as expected to finish this thing.

mtmckinley 28-07-2004 06:34 PM

Looks like a good start! I think she needs more dynamic mouth morphs. At the moment, she appears to be smiling throughout.

Keep it up! Hope you get something by the deadline. :)

chrispo 28-07-2004 08:09 PM

you mean like the aaaa eee iiiii ooooo tttt etc?
Im running a tight ship to finish for thursday mtmckinley!!!

But yes, that may help. Ive adjusted her a bit and done the monster - upload when I get it rendered...

puppet 29-07-2004 02:36 AM

kumar 29-07-2004 03:00 AM

The monster is coming along fine... :)

Noratio 29-07-2004 07:29 AM

Man that looks great... Hehe... cool...

Fallenswordsman 29-07-2004 04:50 PM

This is coming along great, Chrispo - I'm still stunned by the pace that you've put this together! I'm still really not sure that I'm in a position to comment due to lack of specific animation knowledge, but I really like what I'm seeing here so far. Hey, and kudos for trying to cram this all in to the last few days.

chrispo 29-07-2004 11:19 PM

Yeah - im beat, its more a challenge fitting it in in 3 days! I'm going to finish on friday now with one last scene. I wish we could have added in sfx... still might do an addtional one and add it to my website.

kumar 30-07-2004 04:15 PM

Excellent camera work.... The lip sync is not quite there but i like the bouncing skull and the kiss.... Hehe

Fallenswordsman 30-07-2004 06:14 PM

Well done mate - its not quite a polished product, but for the time you've spent on it, its great!
