It's been a while!

I think I'll join in, these days I got a lot of technica&l modeling to do at work, so a little bit of organic modeling will give me some fresh air I think... I hope I'll got time to complete

I got no plan for the moment, I'll let the poly flow control my mind... anyway I'll go for some realist model...

Actually I don't really like this head, it's too much TRex-like... so I'm currently making some modifications.... update really soon...

That is an amazing model. Do you model for a job? I am asking cause you stated that you do more technical stuff at work.

I do different stuffs at work, web, 3d, toshop... (print, dvd, video..web), and yes, when 3d is needed, LWave is my app of choice!
I spent the last week modelling boring stuffs like dvd player and satellite receiver...

Blimey - I missed this one! That's one absolutely awesome looking dino you have there. Fantastic piece of modelling!

here is a pre-post alpha beta test of texture, because model is not finished and UV map is not the final, but I had some ideas bout textures I wanted to test...

Wow - stunning. With a bump map that is going to look so good. I think the colour map may benefit from a tiny bot of gaussian blur just to break up some of the edges on the stripes, but apart from that, can't fault it.

Thx Mike, ur right, scale are really small, but this texture is just to test some ideas I had in mind and I wanted to put in toshop....
This is more a skin layer....

I got a lot of modelling to do, then I'll try to do the final UV ...
I think I'll post one or two more test if I got time and then I'll get back to model...

ok, so the last tests with textures... now back to modelling!!!

Holy frickin' moley. That is just plain awesome! This is quite possibly the best Lightwave model I've seen in a long time. Superb work! A real inspiration.

nice...i know its a test, but with the final render you should make sure to avoid the stretching texture in the middle of the face!!
