k wireframe, its a bit small the image (to save on render times) and iv got a part of a torche added in (not complet yet), need a bigger image just ask ill render it out again

odeone 05-06-2005 04:54 PM

Beautiful work. The details are outstanding.

Better start filling out forms at your local constabulary and get a permit for this thing.

another angle of teh scope

odeone 06-06-2005 03:03 PM

You might want to look at the cables that hold the protector cap for the scope. Looks like their running through the mounting clamp.

light looks good too me as it is.

Currently researching and collecting reference on SA-2 Missiles. Going to build one when I finish McLAren tute. Maybe we can go into digital arms dealing...lol..

look forward to further updates....:D

bullet_evader 06-06-2005 03:58 PM

thx nail, little update been busy so iv not done too much, the M203 nade lancher is finshed, onto the main body now

jedimasta 14-07-2005 08:42 PM

quite possibly a stupid question, are these all radiosity renders or do you have a less intensive lighting technique that makes these look as good?

sake 14-07-2005 09:42 PM

its background radiosity, i seem to alwasy i get a blue light becuase i set the light probe/HDRI image brightness down quite far.

sake 19-08-2005 04:28 PM

Though i might as well post a diffrent angle, the shapes been tweeked and some minor details have been added, still come interceting gemotry to sort out but will do that laterz, Im having major troble with the reciver so that mighty be a wile before its finshed/ started. wut ya think?

OK i made a start on the reciver (arrg) and i dont like the shape of it so far, but im going to see what you people think of it and if i should redo it or not

voices3d 27-11-2005 11:25 AM

I like it! verry nice, cant wait for it to get texture and some bullets :D

Fallenswordsman 27-11-2005 01:35 PM

The receiver looks fine to my untrained eye, but you know more about these things than I do and I know if it were me and I were not happy with a piece of the model, then I'd end up redoing.

BillyBob06 28-11-2005 10:49 PM

Looking like a well made model to me. Nice renders too. Can't wait for some nice hi-res textured renders!

sake 29-11-2005 06:27 PM

lol hey thx people, i posted that update like 3 months ago though, and well i havent done any more on it, iv got backwords i think. Seeing the people seem intrested ill try and finsh it.

voices3d 29-11-2005 11:01 PM

i am verry intrested. I actualy need to make a copy of my softairgun. (mp5 with silencer and so on). But i dont think i am gonna go for detail... but yours looks good. i look forward on seeing progress. Its gonna be swell.

I vote for you keep modeling it :)

Fallenswordsman 30-11-2005 07:13 AM

Yep, c'mon Sake - you know you want to finish this mudsucker! Just don't forget the Desert Eagle as well since that is so close to completion too :attn:
