Fallenswordsman..thanks for your help .......i know shit happens some times ...but the the lack of communication from the owners of this site is what frustrates me...... a simple were are working on the problem would have been nice ....anyway i thank you and the others that have given ideas and contact details to try and sort this out

To be honest, this has been an issue in the past. We, as moderators, don't actually have much power in terms of the back end running of the site, we just sort out problems that may occur on the forums themselves, and considering the number of posts we get here - there isn't that much to do. At the same time though, we don't really have too much power to get in touch with the site owners themselves beyond the standard PM system that we all have access to.
Since SimplyMaya is a much more active board, then, at first, I found that posting problems there tended to allow them to be answered a lot quicker. It has only been recently that I managed to get Tubby's email address as well though, but again this isn't really ideal because its what we call in the business as a single point of failure. If Tubby just happens to be away or is not reading his emails, then the job doesn't get done. Hopefully when the site gets upgraded, problems like this will get resolved. |
