Welcome to the forum.

What method are you using, poly by poly?

At last we are having a real challenge on this forum. ;)

dae 08-04-2003 02:16 PM

Hi and Thanks

regarding your question the answer is I have no idea,
I start with a box then I Bandsaw it and model it from there.:)

thanks
dae

Kvaalen 08-04-2003 02:36 PM

Ah, ok. That is a form of box modeling. :)

Thanks DigiMatt and Kevin, I am glad that is looking good,
I think I will have to redo the hands they dont look right.

Dae:)

Kvaalen 12-04-2003 10:26 AM

Looking great!
Some of the muscles on the back legs look too square which gives it a cartoonish look.

Mark 12-04-2003 12:58 PM

Talons - he needs Talons... :D

CheesEv 12-04-2003 06:50 PM

Great muscle and detail work. The only problem is its head. Don't get me wrong, you did a good job modeling. This Hellbeast just looks so friendly! I can imagine small children riding on its back. This could, of course, be what you intended.

dae 12-04-2003 08:56 PM

The check list

1 Attachment(s)
Hi everybody

I totally agree with you Mark and CheesEv, in fact I was about to put up a list of things left to do, anyway here is the list:

1: Teeth.
2: More thorns or horns, whatever just more of them (similiar to the ones found
on the back of Dojo from the Samurai Spawn Series see photo)
3: Shackels and chains.
4: An evironment for him to be in.

more will come later.

Dae

Hi all

I have added more spikes, increased the size of his eye brows, added a set of teeth, eyelids and a tounge:D
still working on the bones.

RiGLEY 15-04-2003 06:46 PM

First thing I would like to say is thanks for those great reviews, THANKS, regarding RiGLEY question, I will have a go at texturing it, but I cant promise anything spectacular, my texturing skills are not that good, but hey, this model seems a good place to start learning:)

Thanks

Hi everybody

I have been pretty busy with work lately and have not been able to do much more on the model, I have tried to texture but to no success,
so I had to use many Procedural Textures.:D

I have not textured it for the final render it took long enough just as it is,
here it is:)
