textures, and colouring
how do u get to allow to texture ur objects bcos wen i do it only changes the colour and not the texture as well, also how do u texture diferent parts of an object.
thx sharp |
have you applied a texture map to the object?
to apply different textures to different parts of the object you first have to assign surfaces to each part in modeller. |
whats a texture map? ,
how do i assign surfaces to diferent parts? thx sharp |
In the surface editor, press the little 'T' on the color channel to apply a texture to it.
assigning surfaces is done with 'q' in modeller after you selected the polygons you want. This is pretty good covered in the manual If im not misstaken. |
