the mcclearen tutorial
ive got a question about the tutorial. i know its not finished but i have a quick question.
first of all, when i was trying this model, i watched the videos first of all about 3 times over until i had an idea of where i was going. then i started modelling (at the time i was in grade 12 and taking an animation class the first year it was offered) and at the time i wasn't even at the beginner stage of lightwave learning (im still not) but here is the thing, i spent probably 20-30 hours or more setting out the splines just how i wanted, and it still wasnt perfect. since then the computer it was on got reformatted and i lost the entire model. the only copy left my old school teacher has. finally my question....is there a way to surface the entire object at once, instead of one grid space at a time? i just pretty much need a yes, know answer. as the work is lost for now and im really too frustrated to start all over again. thanx guys. btw this is my first thread |
hey dan, I'm afraid teh answer is no... you have to patch one portion at a time.
but don't give up, maybe someone will share the splines? |
thats ok, i should be able to find my old copy and get it from my old teacher. thanx for the info
