Problem With Spacecraft Windows

Hi, first time post.

I'm trying to model a rocket that has circular windows on the nose. The problem is when I stencil the windows into the hull it leaves odd little triangles around the window hole. What's the best technique for producing clean holes on curved surfaces?

Thanks in advance.

Something sounds fishy about the stenciling. I do that kind of thing all the time and not had a problem. Could you grab us a screenshot of the damage?

And by the way, welcome to SimplyLightwave. There are lots of guys here that know a bunch, and a few that think they know a bunch. It is great for guys like you and me that want to know a bunch.

I think that's a smoothing error. I believe splinegod did a video tutorial on how to fix this (similarly on circle-shaped windows), check out:
http://www.3dtrainingonline.com/support/ and download 'Fixing Smoothing Errors' under Misc Stuff. Hope that helps.
