Hey looks great!

In this thread you said that the frist part would be free:

http://forum.simplylightwave.com/sho...s=&threadid=57

But I understand the need of money for the site and to live on :D

philip 26-01-2003 09:31 PM

yep. and the part about setting up backdrops is considered the first part :) This is what has been planned from the start.

Skelegon_Key 27-01-2003 06:29 PM

Looks cool enough to persuade me to pay up - I'm in ! Off to go watch the first part right now.

I love the real one so I would love to do this tutorial. Or drive the real one. but the last option is totally wrong, I defenately dont have that ammount of money. So the other option is: do the tutorial. Problem is I dont have a bank account and have no bank card. So no tutorials from vip section for me I guess?

wozzyke you can send a money order from any post office if you like, or get a friend to send a cheque on your behalf, email Kevin if you want more information.

Or win a comp or become member of the month :)

David :)

wozzyke 27-01-2003 08:33 PM

LOL david ,I'm trying to win a contest (MOM) but chances a few because I'm a newbie and I guess other ppl are much better so I'll try to win one and do the tutorial when I've won one. One day I will be able to do the tutorial, no matter what.
we'll see

DigiMatt 27-01-2003 08:40 PM

wozzyke: If Im not totally misstaken there will be 2 winners on each competition ( 1 newbie and 1 experienced ), so dont count yourself out just yet :)

//Matt

Phil, Kev, David: Correct me if Im wrong here

David 27-01-2003 08:43 PM

wozzyke member of the month doesn’t go to the person with the most knowledge just goes to the person that's always trying to help out, our other site simplymaya most of the time a newbie wins it, even well thought out questions are helpful, feedback on the site good or bad, suggestions etc etc…

Good luck :)

wozzyke 27-01-2003 08:48 PM

ah k, understood you wrong , I thought you were talking about the challenges. Sorry
I'm allways trying to help ppl even if I'm a newbie, I wanne share what I know

28-01-2003 08:31 AM

I dont think we have a member of the month set up at SLW yet... we have a MOTM (model of the month)

Ill talk with Philip and dave about it

philip 28-01-2003 09:40 AM

no. no explicit Member Of The Month here...

but we wnat to honor exceptional support for the community anyway (with an eagle eye especially on newbies ;)
