BOSS ME-50 Guitar Processor.
Here are a few pics of my Bosss ME-50 multi-effects guitar processor. I think I am done modeling and I am going to try to attempt photorealism.
Here is a link to the photo of the real deal for you guys to critique my model against:
http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/en/images/ME-50_T_FNL_L.jpg

I will attempt to model my BC Rich Warlock (based off of Phils strat tut) to compliment this processor later!

The real version of this has a butt-load of text and decals which you can see in the above photo link. This is going to be the hard part for me as I have not done any of that nor am I quite sure how to. I Will be back here for help with that portion along with the lights and Digital readout display which I will also attempt and have no clue how.

I've at least learned to model though for the most part!

I do not have Illustrator or anything, but I have Photoshop which I am also learning. I am confused about the Boss logo (see link). I am trying tp learn about shapes, masks, paths, pen tool, etc within Photoshop and do not know how I would create that kind of shape (the square/circle part of logo) as the manual for Photoshop is very vague. This is the first time my LW manual is better than another!

Anybody give me any clues? I can figure out the majority of the other shapes.

Thanks

Very nice.

As an aid to creating the textures in Photoshop, have you considered scanning the processor to get a template to work from?

Actually that JPEG linked to above looks good enough for a template.

Actually you're right - didn't follow the link originally...
