I need to make a clonetrooper from star wars and (as seen in the star wars colne wars on Cartoon netwook) and on i think in chapter 5 the sepecial op clonetroopers have a cloth rapped around their waists and i wanted to add that to my clonetrooper and i need to know how to animate the cloth...any help?

You can deform it using bones and or displacements but if you want something acurate you might want to use MD.

There are some free tutorials on the net. A search should find them for you.

There is also a tutorial on this site for creating cloth which (from the examples) looks very cool, but (I think) it is a VIP one and since LightWave [8] is comming out soon with a new dynaimcs system I'm not sure how worth while it is. It depends on how urgent it is and if you are going to be upgrading to [8].

search for "MD_controller" on the net

but you have the tab under SCENES dynamics
in the layout

its hard to learn!!! im still learning but search on the net for tutorials
