Texture this guy

1 Attachment(s)
Hi there.

Have been modeling this guy for some hours now. But I´m totally new to texturing...

How do I texture him so he doesn´t look all green but looks a bit more real?

Do you have any comment about the modelling?
Should I edit the model in any way to give him more personality?

Thanks in advance.

for the green part of the face you should add a bump map,
one thing thing about the modeling - the nose looks as if there is no hole,
other than that it looks good,

bump?

which bump-map do you recommend when you should make "skin" like this?

thanks for the answer by the way.... :)

i havent really mastered in the UV texture/bump-map part of Lightwave, im mainly focused on modeling right now,
but i believe you should use a procedural texture in the surface editor,

maybe i should leave this to the pros to explain the steps on how to apply a good bump map,

anyway good luck in modeling and texturing:)

What do you think of this guy now?

How should I create a more realistic skin for this guy?

thanks in advance....

very nice, better than any head that i have done:)

can you mirror this side of the head so we can see the whole head,
(if you dont already know how to than make sure that all the points in the middle are on the 0 X-axis, then hold shift+v and click on the X-axis to mirror)

Keep up the updates!
