so...maybe it's all movie's fault...
(you know, HBO said that he will broadcast the full version of "The Lord of the Ring" but..............:mad: )

The floor texture looks superb to me.. very nice. The ring looks good too, a little thick perhaps.. and a little to dark. otherwise great work

love the ring. good work. i ween looking everywere for the ring texture

I don't know if it's my old monitor, but the ring looks to me made by ceramic and not metal.... If you want you can try this texture I used.

voices3d: the elvish language wich the text is written in is actually available as a truetype font, cant remember where I found it now but I'll keep an eye open for it.. when I did a ring like that I searched the web for pictures of the engravement but didnt find any I was satisfied with so I ended up downloadning the font and writing it myself..

Oops nearly missed this one.... Ok wow looking very appealing. Is that radi.. or caustis or is that the HDRI...? Whatever it is.. its really realistic. Very nice.... Man there is a lot to learn.
