Hi!!! guys, just a newbie question i think!.

Can i save a animation with a transparent background for import
into a composition program like after effects or else?

I believe you just make the background green and then filter green out in the composition program,
haven't really done it myself but i have read about it in the near past,

If you want I think you can add an avi.file as a backdrop if that helps

Yes, you can either key out using chromakey as previously mentioned, or ensure that you export the alpha channel by saving in a 32 bit file format.

It really all depends on the features you have in your sequence since some post process effects won't contribute to alpha.
