No, it will show you as in the chan regardless of where your registered.

how exactly does it work?
I mean i logged in into the live chat thingy and all i got was a partially white screen.

Ive tried to connect with the live chat but it never connects me.
Anyway I found out how to use Trillian's IRC so it's all covered :)
