Customised Menus,,,, anyone.

Well just a thread,,, to see if anyone there has customised menus for modeller or layout... I currently dont use them... Maybe a few shortcuts attached thats all. So if you do use them,,, how about a screen shot. Will be nice to see how you arrange stuff.

shortcuts

Since I'm spline patching these days, I set up my short cuts this way : F1= drag points; F2=Centre data;F3=weld points;F4=Make spline patch;F5=Make open curve;F6=Add points;F7=Bandsaw pro;F8=Smooth shift;F9=Knife;F10=Size tool. I also changed :
G to g=Selection mode:Point;E to e = Extrude tool

well I realy don´t have a custom layout. All I did was, put magic bevel in the layout under Bevel and made my own Tag called Plugins where I have some Plugins I realy don´t wanna put somewhere right now.
Thats all for me ;) I feel ok with the default setup somehow.

Not really much for me - just add in the plug-ins that I tend to use a lot in the appropriate places....

I also have the POZ extender, but I personly think, the David Ikeda Extender is the best.

Fallenswordsman 01-02-2004 02:29 PM

I actually use them both - I've got the David Ikeda plug-ins in my Plug-ins toolbar which I haven't shown here along with all sorts of other fancy crud that don't fit anywhere else. Roll on Lightwave 8 when all this comes full integrated.

Yup, all of those great David Ikeda Powertools are now Newteks and will be in Lightwave 8.
I think Newtek made a great decision on that, cause the tools are realy very powerfull.

Luckly I´ve got em before newtek bought the tools :)
