Need lens flare help....... plezzzz
 

Well, I am trying to get light rays to peek around the earth and cover the edges, and have a few rays go across it or somthing. I am using a point light, a very big poing light, and i don't know what to do to get rays to go across, when i added more lights it just kinda made the background blah, and it didn't make it circular anymore.

o this might help, I want to blind the earth out kinda with light for a few seconds, like in the lord of the rings 2, how gandolf was drowned out with light when he and aragorn, legolas, and gimili met up in fangorn forest. remember that scene?
