Human Head..
Hi.. Im making this human head to get some pratice in using subpatching..
Now I kinda have a problem, which ill explain after showing the head. http://www.nuf.dk/1/Test_pic_002.jpg http://www.nuf.dk/1/Test_pic_003.jpg Now as you might have notice, right underneath (and a bit to the right) the eye there comes some unwanted lines in the subpatching, it dosent smooth as its supposed to.. any suggestion on how to solwe this ? http://www.nuf.dk/1/Test_pic_004.jpg |
Sometimes it doesnt show in the render. You may want to check that first. Also, you could try reducing the weight. Make it a negitave weight (blue). Sometimes though, you just have to fiddle with the geometry until it goes away. That can be a frusterating battle.
I hope my first solution works for your sake. ;) |

It looks as though you've got too much geometry under the eye which is causing undue weight to those polygons (as stated by Leovenous above).
I'd be tempted to take each vertical pair of polygons (as I've outlined below) and merge them. Then, play around with the polys at either end of that chain to smooth them out and convert them back to four points each (it is possible). You'll also want to get rid of any excess points and/or two point polys that the operations might create. That should do the trick for you. |
Thank you very much..
That was appresiated.. :D |
