Hallway Scene

Just finished a tutorial I found on the net showing how to build a mansion hallway, so I thought I'd post it here. If anybody can think of a way for me to improve it over how it looks how, the advice will be welcome!

Very nice image. I love the lighting.

The doors/walls look a little flat. I would add some texture to break up the spec on them. Even a slight bump map can help a lot to break up spec.

IT's an old tute, but a good one...

I'd go with Johnny's suggestion of adding a little micro bump to the surfaces to break up the specularity. I'd also go a step further and look at adding maybe an incidence angle based gradient to the specularity so that the wood doesn't shine so much head on...

Wow!

As soon as i saw this (and the link to the original tutorial, i rushed over and tried it. Of course, i stuck to the tutorial exactly, so my render was exactly like kennez's, but here's the wireframe for H.I.O.M:

Nice looking wire you have there it has an almost neon look to it. Despite the tutorial being quite old, I still think its a nice one to do plus you get a nice looking render at the end of it.
Well done guys!
