Maya isnt that bad Really.....someday it will make a good Plug-in for LW.

sod 16-02-2003 07:56 PM

For i. the special effecs in Little Stuard, Spider Man, Star Wars E1 & 2 and Man in Black ware made with Maya.

So Maye can't be bad =).

16-02-2003 07:59 PM

yeah you tell em sod! The ONLY thing LW wins on is the renderer!

But thats it!

You know maya kick LW a** when it comes to ANYTHING else :D

sod 16-02-2003 08:06 PM

No thats wrong. All these programms base on exactly the same base:

Old fashioned egypt mathematics :D.

If the program renders ****** (starlets?), you have to get a better alghorythm in form of a plugin or use some tricks.

The big difference between the main high quality render programs is the interface an how you interact with your models.

So don't quarrel about render quality :D.

kevin, you should have watched enough of my tutorials to notice that LW's poly and SubD modeler is unbeatable

Check this out--->

This page was created as a record of the movies, TV shows, and other high profile projects that have been created with the help of NewTek's LightWave 3D modeling, animation, and rendering software. Unless noted in blue, these projects all include LightWave-rendered animation in the final cut. This list is certainly not complete by any means.
