As you may know this is an exercise from Essentail lightwave book credit to timothy Albee just thought i would put it up here |
I'd wondered what had happened to the Smash robots! Their heads have been used as flying saucers! Nice image. I haven't actually seen that book myself - how do you rate it?
the book is helpful in some areas and is aimed at introductory to intermediate shows you some tips comes with some good plugins exercises include:
head modeling spline modeling body modeling wolf head modeling interior modeling composting in lightwave alone and many more and at 384 pages its a great purchase |

your latest image loocks very cool sspikedudley
That could realy be from a newspaper :) |
Do a bus frozen in the arctic and send it into the Sunday Sport :)
one question fallen why lol
I don't know if you remember - when The Sunday Sport was first released, they used to run a whole bunch of terrible stories like World War 2 bomber found on the moon and Bus found in the Arctic - stuff like that. Could make you money if you can fake these kinds of things. And lets face it, who takes The Sunday Sport seriously anyway?
lol there is a paper where i live that runs all these type of stories and it had a really crap image on the front page of a spacecraft with image so i just had to make one lol

oh and just been doing the head modeling tutorial out of the book so here it is i have a long term plan for this model and you wont see most of the face so i think it will be ok to use it
Yep - doesn't look too bad. The nostrils run a bit into the face and the corners of the mouth are a bit pinched, plus the ears look like he's gone a couple of rounds with Mike Tyson, but its not too bad otherwise.
