Character: Confederate Commander
Something I started today. So far just the head, third attempt at doing one. I followed the basic head modeling tut from this site and it helped out alot! Best technique i've tried yet, will definately stick with it. Anyway, this guy is a Confederate Walker Cavalry Commander from this story o' mine. I consider the head to be done, but any crits or suggestions to make it better i would love to recieve.

you've got a geometry problem near the nose and cheek. Try deleting any 2 point polys and merge all points.

No 2 point polys or unjoined polys in the mesh. I dunno why that wierd light deal is happening around the eye. Any other ideas?

Any polys with more than 4 points?

not on the model. since it's all sub-d's you can't have more than 4 point polygons. The only thing with more than 4 points is the hat pin. And that's not sub-d's.
