Need Halp that is NOT Basic
i was wondering if there was a script of plug-in out there that will take two similar models (one high poly one low poly) and compare the two to make a texture (or bump) map. and if there was one to take two shadow projection maps (one sharp and one blury) and have them fade between the two depending on how far the object it from the light sorce (for more refreance about what im talking about watch the unreal engine 3 video demo)
and if there is not one can someone help me make one |
not sure about the particular plugins you're looking for but the source of all plugins if of course www.flay.com.
I'd try there first if I were you. Hoop |
Do you mean normal mapping?
One tutorial in this page, NVIDIA and ATI has both free tools for that, 3D buzz thread has good links: http://sv3.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/showth...threadid=77037 |
I dont know is there is any third party that do this....
But you can use quemloss2 (or something like that) in lw 7.5c(comes with it) or if you have lw[8] you can use in the CONSTRUCT tab >> reduce polys I think they are the same but different names. Then you can use normal map plug in from: http://amber.rc.arizona.edu/lw/normalmaps.html hope it helps. |
