Would welcome comments on the character I am working on at the moment.
Have been following the Desktopimages.com Character Modelling and Animation Series of DVDs for this model. Not happy at all with the ears and eyes areas - still needs a lot of work on those areas. Any ideas on how to fix the ears? |
I would call a good plastic surgen. ;)

I really havent done any charactor modeling so I wouldent know to much. There is a couple good head modeling tutorials here you might want to check them out.

I think you'll need to move the ears substantially further down - even for a comic face. Other than that, as Johnny says, look at the tutorials here.

to make it more realistic, I'd
-the chin not that big -the head in general bigger, if youre talking about reallife persons, the face compared to head is often just the lower half:) -the ears way more down and resized(bigger) -redo the connection between neck and head :) hope I was able to help:) |

Thanks to Johnny9ball, Fallenswordsmanand Kermit for your advice. Have updated picture - again still working on ears but a little bit better than the last effort.
More of a cartoony-type character I think - maybe a 'Desperate Dan type figure. |
i agree with the others, i also have 2 more tips for you:
* eyes needs to be deeper inside the head, they are pulling out to much right now. * make the forehead bigger ( higher ). |
Thanx Bullet_Evader

Desperate Dan eh? In that case - HUGE chin and a big Cowpie!:)
