Try a composite shot rather than the CG BG. Looks like vector art... not a bad start though..

I like it, and for your first Project it looks great. Personaly I Really Like the composite shots as well. but i think you should stay away from them until you get a better grp on the powers of LW. That is just my 2 cents. Any how I think you are doing a great job! keep up the great work, this is better than my first project, by a long shot
