MH-60 Blackhawk
 

I have been working ona blackhawk model for the BlackHawk Down modification to call of duty: United offensive.

I had a 5000 poly limit for this project and i was glad when i ended up with 4829 tri's. The model is texture smoothed but is still in default grey as someone else is skinning the models.

This is the first model i have created for use in a game.

very nice work.. will this be an official addon for COD?

No, this modification is being produced by a various mixture of volunteers. They are doing good work and it will be a free mod

Here is a render of the blackhawk in the scene created from phillips ocean tutorial, the rotors aren't moving and the hawk has a fast frensel shader on the default grey surface. I did this render purely for fun but will be spinning the rotors and adding motion blur for a better effect.

great work! I fixed Blackhawks in the US Army for almost 10 years. It's pretty close!

yeah mate found it hard to get good pics, specially of the exhausts on the different variants and i never quite got to see if anything seperates the cockpit from the internal cabin.

And if you can see anything that stands out as being wrong i would love the feedback. Got different images at

This UH-60 came in with a collapsed right side landing gear,.. those are a bunch of tires under it,.. I didn't think that would work,.. I was getting ready to run when she tipped! LOL,.. but, it worked!
