ive started on the arm, and am finding it hard :(

am i doing it right ?

frame 1 : i select the poly that is at the sholder,

frame 2 : perform a bevel and drag out to end of shoulder,

frame 3 : i then delete the poly and then work down into the arm, but u can see those creases that have appeared, ive been told its because more than 5polys share the same point, and lightwave dont like that, anybody know better ways to make arms?

cheer

Starting to look more the part now. I don't know if you intend on going back and doing more work on the helmet, but you'll find that you still need to model the scalloped areas around the cheeks...

davie563 31-01-2005 02:05 PM

ohh yeah, once i get the whole thing modeled, ill be working over the whole thing again adding groves and small cracks and lots of detail, i like to add all the detail at the end like i did my Imperial Walker :p
