BodyPaint 2

I saw the demos for body paint 2 and it looks awsome, is there anything like that for lightwave?? It said it was only for cinema 4d. I was just wondering what you guys thought was the best.

Ok says on their website,, there is direct support for Lightwave,,, think should be a pipline plugin you need to download or something... As bodypaint is a standalone.. then the support plugin will be installed to provide the support.... Something like that's what i heard.

Oh ya,, look at this..

I use it in my daily workflow. Much more than just a painting program. It's monsterously helpful with UV texturing and UV mapping as well. Indespensible for me..

Body Paint is by far the best 3D painting suite ive ever used... I use to hate texturing now I can't get enough to texture.... (did that sound Generic??? sounds like I work for maxon and trying to promote it :p ) it is a really good program.

I am interested to know why....??? Lets discuss... post some stuff.. so the others can learn whats the better ones...

Personally,, i feel you need the Deep UV and Deep Paint and the texture weapons... not to mention the Deep Exploration is a nice tool.. So the combo is nice.

Oh ya the brushes is what i really like... And the photoshop filters...

BP Also uses Photoshop filters too. Key is to set it up right to recognize them.

Looking at the demos I think I like body paint 2 a lot more, I like the interface a lot more, it reminds me a lot more of photoshop.

when i first bought deep paint it did not install verry nice......
had to download a patch right away did not like that i did not even know about the patch. finally when i got it to work it only supports planers. we all know you cant paint planers!....... @nd texture weapons did not come with deep paint you had to buy that sepert. $500 extra when i spent $900 just for deep paint alone. lets face it body paint gives you every thing right out of the box and it works right away. Nice and its also hubed right to light wave no turning on and off LW to see your texture changes, you just switch back and forth. i will give up their texture brushes just for that feature alone.........:)

Heheh,,, i see your point. Guess i was lucky to use the bundle,,, so deep uv then deep paint. But i guess learning to uv and creating the textures directly in photoshop is an artform in inself.
