Spline Problems

1 Attachment(s)
I am making an airplane, this is the wing. I'm modeling with splines and then will patch them. I am ready to start patching, i did a little testing with it last night and it worked fine, but now when i do it, it doesn't work right. Each of the highlighted lengths are different sections, all are connected, and i selected them in clockwise order, I've selected it in counter-clockwise order too and I still get errors. What I don't get is that it was just working last night.

I have also been welding points and I get crazy symbols where it could say 2 points have been welded in a text box.

Looks to me like you only have 3 splines selected in your picture. I'm pretty sure you have to have 4 splines to beable to patch them.

They are 4, it's just they look like 3.

Which way are you selected them? Look at the pictures I've posted

I'm wondering if you are selecting them this way?

It still isn't filling in the space, all the pollys go onto one spline now. Check out the file if you could.

I may just redo everything, but i'd like to know whats wrong so it doesn't happen in the future.

PolarBear53:

Shift+z all your splines that make up the wing. And then you'll be back in Business:-) Shift+z kinda merges 2 splines together making them 1. if you'll notice when you select the splines as it is now. it'll say you have 2.

Hope this helps you out.
