as i haven't much spare time i'll post a few updates
i did the upper legs part, thought i am not sure i'll keep them like this
i think i'lll have a lot of tweaking to do just to have the character
fonctional for animation such as reduce a bit the forearms
in order to be able to move them enough.
comments would be apreciated

I like it the arms exaggerated looks cool!

LaMereHic 10-04-2005 02:26 PM

Thanks, the thing with these big exagerated arms is that i am gonna have some troubles for the animation part
but, i'll see if i will have to reduce them a little bit

simple 10-04-2005 02:30 PM

I think you can prbably pull it off in a couple of ways, ok one would be to shorten the arms, I wouldnt reall reduced the thickness of them, and the other way is for you to make you character walk like a gorilla, that would be funny.

Keep us updated, a good luck.

LaMereHic 11-04-2005 08:40 PM

thanks simple
the thing is that the robot has to walk like that, a gorilla
this is why i did created it with these hudge arms
:)

Looks pretty cool cant really say much more as its not long enough to really see the full potential of your character, but looks really good so far.

The cape was it made with motion designer?

I am figuring motion designer out right now, bit slow due to my processor.

Good work man, but the animation isnt the character pictured is it? its your other character the grey one.

LaMereHic 02-05-2005 08:44 AM

thanks
yes the cape moves are made in clothFx
i am learnig how to use it
need a bit tweaking more to have it right
the character is my first robot.. otto
i ll have the second in the animation after

here is a update, the cape does not behave as i would like yet but i am gonna find a way to have it well (hope so)

RoD

LaMereHic 10-05-2005 10:06 PM

Merci beaucoup rod

for the moment I fight with the continuation of animation.... with chains, I seek a type of set up to succeed to animate this chains with the above clinging perso and the chains taking down ceiling where it was fixed fall onto him...

i am triyng fk, ik, physics...
got no very probant result for the moment...
if someone has ideas....
