Airport

This has been posted over at the Newtek forums,
I just want as much feedback as possible. I worked on this scene for about a week, tweaking and fixing... The airplanes in the background came with LW8 so they arenīt mine, the rest is. I concider this work finished, but all comments are welcome! |
It may just be me, but some of the scale looks ever so slightly off (ie: Trashcans too big, trollies too small and doors a little too small).
Apart from that though - cool render. |
I agree with mark, the doors are at the same size as the trashcans. the rest is looking real nice. I like the lightning you've put on this image.

Pretty cool render. I don't know if it's just me, but your render kind of reminds me of Pixar. Just not as polished.

Thank you all for your responses and comments,
I have done some errors in the scale of things, I havenīt gone in and checked it all, but I do beleive I made the railings on the escalators a bit too high, the trashcans a bit too high, the doors are to scale that I know... In my upcoming work I will put more research on the actual size of things, instead of guessing. |
Agree with previous comments. Nice job.

I like it. Aside from the above mentioned scale issues, the only thing I see is that the carts seem really dull looking kinda like a clay render. I would add more specularity and/or reflection to them. Also the escalator sides look really dull aswell I would try adding a lot more reflection to them to make them resemble an escalator better. Here is a pic I found on google to kind of show you what I think the metal should look like. But this is just my opinion. It's your render so you do whatever suits you.

The doors are fine as far as scaling just looking at the image. Minor adjustments on the overall "Airport" will be nice. Great work though...keep the good work. |
has a lot of promise aside from a few scaling issues imo - but nice
