At last I I'm back in LW after the HD crasch, continueing learning car modelling. I choose my neighbours Volvo V70. And this is so far I have come. I don't know how many hours so far. And using the McLaren tut (in the back ground) is a must!!

Wonderful start! Are you using Splines and Spline patching??

Fallenswordsman 21-11-2005 08:19 PM

Yep got to say that the McLaren tutorial, even if it is a bit repetitive on the spline patching parts, is an absolute goldmine of information. This is looking really good so far and it must have taken you a fair while to get things this far. Great work.

Yeah! Now I know how to do it I plan to make different types including Borrani Wire Wheels. Anyone tried/did that?

Well. You see, I had to make those wheels first. But right now I've downloaded David Mitchell's Interior tutorial and working with that - learning more texturing and lightning (and new tools).

It's hard to finish a project - and this is NOT. Lightning & texturing is difficult, I think. But I think I leave this Volvo for a while and rather start with another car.
Happy New Year to you all.

Awesome looking car! And a Happy New Year to you as well!
