Nov/Dec Final NORMAL Entries!
Because of the holidays, I'm putting the threads up a bit early.
Post your finals here! Only final entries, please. If you'd like to comment on them, please do so at their original thread. Final entries that are attached to the forum should be no larger than 640x480. If you'd like to post larger images, please link to them from your own hosting. Feel free to post wires, texture maps, etc and describe your entry. Make sure you post some sort of photograph of your chosen object so that we can get a nice comparison. Only images posted in the final entry threads will be considered up for the final judging. Thanks! |

Final renders.
Concept: Skeleton Pocket Watch I did this as something that I just love the look of with the gorgeous interiors and detail setting it apart from normal pocket watches. The half-hunter design meant that I had two lots of glass to contend with, one in the lid and one over the face. Not entirely sure if I should be classed as Norm or Noob here. I'm certainly Norm when it comes to most modelling, but I did struggle to get the cogs and the spring right. The noob aspect comes from the fact that I've never actually done anything that involves lighting, HDRI or proper texturing before and I really struggled to get these aspects of the project worked out, so I'll let the judges decide whether I should be classed as Norm or Noob. Anyway, here are the renders. First off is with the lid open. |
