Problems getting points

Hello. I paid for 35 points. The amount was charged to my credit card, but I got an email saying no points were allocated to my account because no address info was included with the order. However, I did enter my address info on the order page. So, there must be something wrong with the order page and capturing the address info that I entered.

I replied to the email that was sent to me from David@simply3dworld.com confirming that my address was entered when making my order and supplying the info again.

This is very disconcerting! I sure hope I am going to get my points! The order page needs to be looked at. I do not know why it didn't retain the address info I put in. Something is not working there!

Hi,

No address was sent with your order. The order page is nothing to do with us, its entirely run by paypal we don't capture the address info ether Paypal does.

Just entering your address in your paypal account will not mean its sent with everything you buy via paypal. When you make a payment with paypal you have to tell it to send your address along as well.

Points allocated.

well. I paid by credit card not paypal and yes my address was entered. Anyway, I got the points now. Thanks. I still don't know why this happened.

Problems

I've had the same problem. I didn't enter an address but I'm not ordering anything to come to me through the mail. I sent my address info but I still don't have any points. I'd like to download these today so I can take them with me to learn in Germany for the next 3 weeks. Can you help?

thanks,

Powersolo

Erich We only accept payment via paypal if you give your address details to paypal and your card details to paypal, we do not get them. You need to tick the box when you make your order saying send address information with order. That's why it happened.

powersolo Your points where added two days ago let me know if there is anything else I can do.

It does say on the payment page "Please include your address, if you whish you points to be added automatically."

Without an address nether we or you are covered by paypals buyer / seller protection policies which is why its needed. That and the massive amount of fraud we get.

David,

thanks for your reply. I meant to post a reply here yesterday and I had to run out in the early afternoon. I didn't put in the address because I was not having anything delivered. But I can see why you need it. I'm sorry for my confusion. I've download my fill of tuts now and I'll buy more points after I return from Europe in March. I hope to study the ones I downloaded while I'm there.

thanks again David,

PS - I'd like to see some tutorials on "holes" - cutting them, fixing them, placing them etc.

No problem hope everyone understands that the address is for your protection as well as ours.

Glad to see this resolved for you.

David
