Modelling a bycycle

Hi folks,

I was wondering if someone could help me.

I'm quite new to this, and I want to create a model of a bicycle. I have to create the model from scratch. I've been experimenting, but I'm still having trouble understanding where to begin.

What primitives and techniques would you use for this kind of object? (e.g. box, ball, disc, cone, bevel, extrude, etc). Are there any tutorials online? I'm sure once I get going I'll be fine, it's just frustrating not knowing where to start.

I hope someone can help.

Thanks!

I would start with primitive shapes and block out the entire object, then start refining and adding detail. Don't worry about seams. Just build up the over all form first.
