Haven't been around much - busy with work/school/vacation.
anyhoo became interested in the simplicity of this challenge and the different ways to accomplish it.

Rubber Rescue: The one match that seemed to grab my attention the most.

I have a concept in my head but have yet to draw it.

Simple sketch and simple idea.

1 reason the hand looks weird is cause i was drawing a right hand with my right hand...don't work too well.

and the second image of the life ring aka "rubber rescue"

10-20 mins of modeling.

looking good so far - maybe the rubber ring can be a bit more rounded? Looks slightly flat on top to me.

It's weird because that's how i made it at the beginning but the reference image has it looking flat...
I'll try to do something though to make it a bit more round.

It looks like your reference have some more rounder/smoother corners. Good start anyhow.

modified the life ring to be more round

good progress so far - I think the life ring still needs a bit of work though - it's looking a little 'sharp' along the edge. Also, who is being rescued?
